Borderlands 3’s new limited-time Farming Frenzy event will make better loot much easier to find.
Gearbox announced a new mini-limited-time-event for Borderlands 3 beginning tomorrow and running for two weeks.
The new Farming Frenzy event will see increased Legendary loot drops and more rare enemy spawns, meaning you’ll have a much better chance at getting those rarest of guns and other drops.
Here’s what the event will entail:
- Rare spawns are guaranteed to appear;
- All enemies with dedicated loot pools (e.g. rare spawns, named bosses, etc.) have a higher chance of dropping Legendary gear from their dedicated loot pool;
- Additionally, the Anointment rate for that gear has been increased;
- Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite’s difficulty will now scale to match the size of the player party rather than defaulting to four-player difficulty (available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One only).
So from now until January 30th, Borderlands 3 will be a much better game for farming top-tier loot. That’s never a bad thing in a game that’s all about the loot hunt. Actually, events like this would have been a good idea in Anthem back before that game completely flamed out. Oh well.
